Lest your readers think from Rob Delaney’s letter that we are a profession of headbangers, may I point out that Alice Cooper also features in that most august of classical music periodicals, Gramophone, enthusing over Bach, Beethoven and Mussorgsky. He has just released a new recording of Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, clear proof that he is still alive and kicking as he approaches his seventh decade.
