Conservative Party Foundation, The

The Conservative Foundation was set up as an endowment fund to receive legacies. It is an integral part of the Conservative family but it is a separate company and has an independent Board of Directors and an Investment Committee.

The investment fund is carefully managed and can only be used to safeguard the long-term finances of the Conservative Party - regardless of who the leader is. The Foundation has received approval from Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs to be able to receive legacies (and life time donations) free of inheritance tax.
