How can the UK be changed? At LICC, we believe the UK will be transformed when the Church envisions and equips ‘ordinary’ men and women to make a difference where we are and where we have most of our relationships – at work, college, with our neighbours.
All of life is a context for worship, mission, ministry and active Christian engagement – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our goal is to help make whole-life, missionary Christianity a central, unavoidable and operational component of the UK church.
Founded in 1982 by John Stott, LICC focuses on helping Christians to listen to both the Bible and today’s world in order to make the greatest contribution to society. Indeed, LICC has recently undertaken 5 ground-breaking studies that examined the attitudes of people inside, on the fringe, and beyond the fringe of the church.
Directed by popular author and speaker Mark Greene, LICC works to:
1. Resource Christians, leaders, theological colleges, churches and Christian agencies with the theological framework, practical resources and models for Christian engagement with the world.
2. Develop and provide expertise in specific areas of contemporary life: work, culture, media, communications, disciple-making and youth culture.
The LICC team teach and speak across the UK, produce a range of resources and deliver the message through print, broadcast and web media – all focused on helping Christians and their leaders make a difference in the world.
We currently reach around 600,000 every month. Your support could help us do so much more.
