England & Wales’ meadows, streams, forests and wildlife need tender loving care too

Everyone who loves being outdoors, appreciates landscape or thrills to the sights and sounds of wildlife, will find they have a lot in common with Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust.
Alert to the risks of climate change, increased food production, declining populations of once-common wildlife, over 40 Trust scientists are hard at work. They are researching different ways of balancing modern life with the needs of wild creatures and our living, changing landscapes.

Founded in 1928 by Dorothy and Pog Yglesias, the hospital depends entirely on donations and yearly subscriptions to Hospital Membership. Caring for both land and sea birds, its aim is always to release, but it gives permanent sanctuary in cases where this is impossible. Support is particularly needed for our continuing programme of essential improvements and modernisations to help us in our work.
