There are 10 million people in the UK living with arthritis. Sadly though, there is still very little public awareness or understanding about the devastating impact arthritis can have on people’s lives. Arthritis Care exists to empower people with arthritis and demonstrate the positive choices available to them, enabling them to manage their pain and lead rich and fulfilling lives.

As well as helping individuals manage their condition, Arthritis Care, being a user-led charity, regularly consults with its members and supporters as experts. Consequently Arthritis Care has established itself as the voice of people with arthritis over the last 65 years; ensuring that people with arthritis are represented and influential when policy decisions are made at local, regional and national level.
