LEAVING A SMILE FOR THE FUTURE

There are more than 1,000 children in the South West who suffer from conditions
that mean they will die before they reach adulthood. Conditions such as heart
disease and organ failure, muscular dystrophy, cancer and cystic fibrosis. Children
who suffer in this way need very specialised care during their short and precious
lives, care which our dedicated children’s hospices lovingly provide.

Children’s Hospice South West provides the only children’s hospices in the South
West that care for very sick children; Little Bridge House in Devon, Charlton Farm
in North Somerset and Little Harbour in Cornwall (from winter 2011).

Not only do we provide the care such very sick children require, but also give
much-needed support to their families during their children’s illness and beyond, into
bereavement.

It costs £6million each and every year, to provide this special service, and we
are almost entirely funded by voluntary gifts from the community we serve, so
every legacy we receive really makes a difference.

We would love you to be part of our work. After providing for your own cherished
family and friends, please consider supporting those dear families who will need the
support of our hospices, both now and into the future. If you would like any more
information about leaving a legacy to Children’s Hospice South West, please feel
welcome to contact Rob Emery at the above address.
