As the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, Dogs Trust cares for over 16,000 stray and abandoned dogs a year through its nationwide network of 17 Rehoming Centres. We believe that every dog deserves a loving home and work hard to match the right dog with the right owner. We never put a healthy dog down and are working towards a day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.

Many people wonder “What would happen to my dog if I were to die suddenly?” and this is why Dogs Trust offers the Canine Care Card. It is a special FREE service whereby we promise that, in the event of your death, we will care for your four-legged friend for as long as it takes until a responsible, loving new home can be found.

Dogs Trust receives no government funding and relies entirely on legacies and donations in order to continue its vital work. All of the kind donations we receive help us to provide the highest standard of care possible for every dog who comes through our doors, whether this is veterinary treatment, behavioural training or simply lots of TLC. Every gift is gratefully received and helps more dogs in need.
