Emunah

Emunah provides successful solutions to the ever-changing needs of Israel's most deprived and vulnerable children. Emunah offers an immediate response to Israeli children at risk from the physical, mental and sexual abuse many face on a daily basis. Emunah’s work spans a whole range of social welfare projects: residential homes; day care centres; high schools; counselling centres and community centres.

Emunah in Israel strives to create a loving, stable and safe environment for those children, many of whom come from broken and dysfunctional families.

From its beginnings 78 years ago, Emunah has now developed into a wordwide organisation that is one of Israel's leading social welfare providers. Emunah in the UK is part of World Emunah with 180,000 members in 30 countries and funds 35 of the 225 Emunah projects in Israel.

In recognition of the valuable contribution to Israeli society over the last sixty years, Emunah, was one of the recipients of the prestigious Israel Prize in 2008, coinciding with Israel's 60th Anniversary.
