The National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS) is the leading UK charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people. There are more than 45,000 deaf children in the UK and 4 babies are born deaf every day. NDCS provides clear, impartial information on all aspects of childhood deafness, supporting parents in helping their child to develop. We provide a Freephone Helpline to support families and professionals; a network of family officers; events for families and deaf young people; and offer free publications and membership to parents and carers. NDCS campaigns to make sure that families’ experiences are at the heart of government plans and policies. We have more than 100 local groups and 28,000 members across the UK.

Ninety five percent of our work to help deaf children is funded by the public. Without gifts in Wills, we would be unable to help many of the children and families who turn to us for support, so please consider leaving a lasting gift for deaf children.

For further information about NDCS, please call our Legacy Officer on the telephone number above.
