Canterbury Cathedral is known as a holy place, as a monument to inspirational architecture and stained glass, for its great choral tradition, and for its place in our national and world heritage.

The Friends of Canterbury Cathedral was set up in 1927 by Dean George Bell, who went on to be Bishop of Chichester. The Friends have been supporting the fabric, life and worship of the Cathedral for many years. The Cathedral does not receive any external funding to help maintain and run the building. All gifts in memoriam and donations to the Friends of Canterbury Cathedral are much appreciated and will be put to good use.

By remembering The Friends of Canterbury Cathedral in your Will you will help to preserve Canterbury Cathedral and all that it stands for in perpetuity. Please help us to preserve Canterbury Cathedral for future generations.

If you would like to receive a free copy of a short DVD which gives a look behind the scenes at Canterbury Cathedral and explains why it needs continual funding please contact Mrs Pam Doyle, Executive Secretary on 01227 865290 or email pamd@canterbury-cathedral.org. There are some beautiful scenes of the Cathedral from angles that the visitor does not always get to see.

A GIFT IN EVERY WILL MAKES A DIFFERENCE
