Grace and Compassion Benedictines

Founded by Mother Mary Garson in 1954, for the care of the old, sick and frail. We are now responsible for running 25 homes in the UK and abroad. In England we provide sheltered accommodation, residential homes, a geriatric nursing unit and holiday care. The family consists of the Sisters, their lay helpers and the aged, sick and poor of all religions (or of none). The criterion is need. In India, Sri Lanka and Africa we run a children’s home, village clinics, hospitals, old people’s homes, kindergarten and primary school, farms, craft training centres and a school for Nursing. There are also guest houses and a retreat and conference centre. It is a growing venture, supported by your contributions. Your donation could help us to do so much more.
