Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children is one of the leading children’s hospitals in the world caring for sick children from all over the country – in particular those with the most rare or severe conditions. The hospital has the largest range of paediatric specialities under one roof in the UK and is the largest centre for children with cancer and leukaemia in Europe and the largest centre for children’s heart transplants in the world. The majority of our patients need to see at least two specialists and thousands every year need to see five teams or more.

Legacies to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (Registered Charity No 235825) and the Friends of the Children of Great Ormond Street (Registered Charity No 296370) support children and their families by buying state-of-the-art clinical equipment; researching treatments and cures for life-threatening diseases; and enabling parents and siblings to stay close to the hospital during this stressful time in their lives.
