Interact Worldwide

Interact Worldwide works in East Africa, India and Pakistan helping vulnerable, stigmatised and hard to reach communities escape a life of poor sexual and reproductive health that exacerbates poverty and inequality.

We aim to help those who have the worst prospects for care and support, sharing our task with a diverse range of local partner organisations and utilising a sustainable approach. Together we work on projects that provide information, basic services, and which support people to demand care and support, fight discrimination, and alter attitudes. All this helps to ensure that vulnerable people’s needs are met, and their rights respected. Some of the issues we work on:

• Stopping Maternal Deaths
• Universal Access to Family Planning
• Prevention and Treatment Sexually Transmitted Infections including HIV

In addition, Interact ensures that the voices of the poor are heard by those in positions of power, locally and globally. We raise awareness of the huge value of sexual and reproductive health care services for the poorest communities.
