Kids Kidney Research

We exist to fund vital kidney research for babies and children at the Institute of Child Health and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. We also fund renal projects nationwide under the guidance of the British Association for Paediatric Nephrology.

For over 30 years we have been funding kidney research which aims to
• Eliminate the need for transplants and kidney machines.
• Define the best treatment for the many thousands of children born every year with chronic renal failure
• Explore new therapies which can potentially heal damaged kidneys
• Find the faulty genes which run in families and cause kidney disease
Our costs are tiny – over 98% of all the money raised supports vital kidney research.

We rely entirely on voluntary donations.
More than 75% of our income comes from legacies and we are deeply grateful to all who remember Kids Kidney Research in their will. Any mention, however small, could really help transform lives. Thank you very much.
