The National Anti-Vivisection Society (NAVS) is the world’s leading group working to end the suffering of animals in laboratories. Working within the law, we lobby parliament, produce scientific reports, educational materials and videos for parliament and public; we conduct undercover investigations and expose law-breaking;we fund non-animal scientific and medical research. We can do more, but only with your help.

Our Lord Dowding Fund supports non-animal research projects include breast and lung cancer, cataracts, toxicity testing of dental fillings, cot deaths, safety-testing, hepatitis B, pain, infertility, tissue engineering, vascular disease. Our annual spend on projects is currently over £300,000 per annum.

We can have solid, scientific medical research, without making animals suffer for progress. We can save animals and help people, but only with your generous support.
