Royal British Legion, The
The Royal British Legion, a unique organisation and national resource, has been committed to protecting the welfare, interests and memory of ex-Service people and their families since 1921.
Today, nearly 10.5 million people in the UK are eligible to ask for our support. From providing counselling and job retraining to assessing occupational skills; from campaigning for welfare assistance to helping set up small businesses; from arranging travel to war graves to running care homes and welfare break centres – The Royal British Legion is needed now more than ever.
The Royal British Legion works tirelessly, making a lasting difference to the quality of life of the many thousands of people who turn to us for help each year. Quite simply, the Legion changes peoples’ lives.
One of the ways in which your clients could enable The Royal British Legion to continue to offer such wide ranging care and support is to include a gift to the Legion in their Wills. Legacies form an important part of our income and we are always grateful to people who chose to support us in this way.
A legacy to the Legion would not only be a fitting tribute to the memory of those who died to preserve our freedom but would also enable the Legion to remain a symbol of hope for current and future ex-Service people and their dependants.
For as long as the British Armed Forces are affected by conflict the Legion will be desperately needed.
