Royal Parks Foundation
The Royal Parks – London's personal space
The Royal Parks are visited by millions of us every year. Their 5,000 acres offer everyone a personal space amid the rush and bustle of the city, and above all they enhance our health and well-being and that of generations to come.
The Royal Parks Foundation
It can be easy to take places such as The Royal Parks for granted, to forget they need our protection and support. It is this that makes them especially vulnerable.
The Royal Parks Foundation, a registered charity, was established in May 2003 and is committed to raising additional funds to:
- Protect what we have inherited from the past
- Support what we are doing in the present
- Create new opportunities for the future
From wildlife to monuments, and playgrounds to historic avenues, we want to respond positively to every area of potential.
Our plans for the future
Funds raised by the Foundation will enable The Royal Parks to develop community and education programmes, run creative art events, conserve wildlife, restore the Parks monuments, support young and disadvantaged people, and so much more.
The eight Royal Parks are: Bushy Park; The Green Park; Greenwich Park; Hyde Park; Kensington Gardens; The Regent's Park with Primrose Hill; Richmond Park; St James's Park.
