Where there’s a Will…
“I count myself in nothing else so happy As in a soul remembering my good friends” Richard II

Shakespeare’s Globe on the banks of the River Thames is a reconstruction of the Elizabethan theatre in which William Shakespeare acted and wrote. Since opening, the Globe has become a success story beyond all expectations. As well as presenting a truly popular season of plays every year, it runs an internationally renowned education programme. Every year we entertain, educate and inspire almost three quarters of a million visitors. All this has been achieved without government subsidies to our annual running costs.

In order for us to continue to be adventurous and dynamic in both our theatre and our educational programmes, we need your support. Leaving a Legacy will play a key role in helping us plan our future. If you give us advance knowledge of your intended gift you can join us in realising our vision of the Globe’s future.
We understand these are important decisions which you must make in your own time, with your family and solicitor. No gift is too large or small as whatever the amount, it can help us build on our creative and educational activities.
If you are considering remembering Shakespeare’s Globe in your will or would like to discuss making a donation, please contact Anthony Hewitt on 020 7902 1458.
