Arthritic Association
Easing the pain of arthritis - naturally
It is estimated that over nine million people in the UK have a form of arthritis, and although the majority are over 55, younger people and even children can also suffer.
At The Arthritic Association we promote the work and philosophies of Charles de
Coti-Marsh, who believed that arthritis may be managed naturally, through a guided choice of foods, regular physical therapy treatments, and specified homeopathic preparations.
Charles tested his theories with a small group of sufferers before founding the Association in 1942 in order to take his work to a wider audience.
Over recent years the Association has supported research projects undertaken by the University of Bristol, Roehampton University and the British Nutrition Foundation. We are now starting work to commission our own research, so that this may give some statistical support to the anecdotal evidence we have been given by the many hundreds of members who have succeeded on our Programme.
To ensure our service is available for all, we have a low annual subscription of just £6.
The Association therefore relies on donations, gifts, bequests and legacies to carry out its work. As a result we are heavily dependent on those who have generously arranged that we be remembered in their Wills.
Thank you for considering us.
