ABOUT OUR WORK:

Leaving a legacy or bequest to The Donkey Sanctuary can help reach thousands of working donkeys overseas, an enormous task requiring considerable funding.

The charity relies entirely on donations to support major programmes in five core countries, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Kenya and Mexico, and many other countries through a small grants programme.

It works to improve donkey welfare through veterinary assistance and aspires to form working partnerships with donkey-owning communities to give them skills in, for example, donkey first aid, harness improvement and general welfare.

If you feel you would like to remember The Donkey Sanctuary in your will, it might be a comfort to know that in appreciation of this support your name will be inscribed on a memorial board at the Sanctuary.
