Kennel Club Charitable Trust
Our mission is simple
We are a dog charity who has dedicated 25 years to making a difference for all dogs. The Kennel Club Charitable Trust receives no government funding and is entirely reliant upon the generosity of our kind supporters who share our love and passion for dogs. This generosity helps us in many ways from funding research into genetic diseases and supporting welfare groups, to training - all of which gives dog’s healthier and happier lives – something we believe they richly deserve.
Founded in 1987, we have donated almost £6 million to support these initiatives and fund the Kennel Club Genetics Centre at the AHT (Animal Health Trust).
For many of us, dogs are a reservoir of love and comfort throughout our lives. Caring, compassionate and loyal – a dog’s love is unconditional and provides many benefits to human beings – even more then just a canine companion. We help fund a number of organisations across the UK every year to support people who may be deaf, blind, confined to a wheelchair or perhaps suffer from epilepsy.
There are many ways to donate to the Kennel Club Charitable Trust, but perhaps the ultimate expression of love for dogs and continued support for the work we do is by considering leaving a donation in your Will in the form of a Legacy. So if you have a canine pal you’d like to see live a fuller and happier life, join us in making a real difference for dogs!
