Employment Appeal Tribunal
Justice Knox has been nominated to be a judge of the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
Council on tribunals
Sheila Cameron QC has been re-appointed to the Council on tribunals for a further period of one year from 1 March 1989.
Jean Horsham CBE has been re-appointed to the Council on tribunals for a further period of three years from 11 February 1989.
Michael Rush has been re-appointed to the Council on tribunals for a further period of three years from 11 February 1989.
Law Commission
Jack Beatson has been appointed a law commissioner for a term of five years beginning on 3 July 1989.
Judicial Studies Board
His Honour Judge Colston QC has been appointed to the criminal committee of the Judicial Studies Board.
His Honour Judge Mark Dyer has been reappointed to the main board and the criminal committee of the Judicial Studies Board to serve a further term of office with effect from 6 May 1989.
Lord Justice Glidewell has been appointed as chairman of the Judicial Studies Board in succession to Lord Justice Mustill as from 1 April 1989. Mr Justice Auld has been appointed as a member of the Judicial Studies Board and as chairman of the criminal committee in succession to Justice Ognall.
Advisory Council on Public Records
Alex Carlile QC MP, Terry Davis MP and Sir George Moseley KCB, a former permanent secretary at the Department of the Environment, have been appointed to be members of the Advisory Council on Public Records.
Michael Latham MP has been reappointed to the council.
Legal secretariat
Juliet Wheldon has been appointed to be legal secretary to the law officers as from 2 October 1989, in succession to Michael Saunders.
