Partners at litigation specialist Stewarts Law will share profits up 17% on last year, the firm announced today.

According to results posted for the year ending 30 April, the firm made net profits of £29m on revenue of £62.1m, which it said was an 18.4% increase on the previous year.

Partners’ compensation was listed as £35.7m, 17.04% up on last year.  

John Cahill (pictured), managing partner, said: ‘We are pleased to have marked the end of our 25th year with another solid set of financial results.

'During the year we added 20 lawyers to the headcount including both lateral hires and internal promotions. We were delighted to offer seven new training contracts.

'We have a busy and challenging year ahead with a number of substantial trials and the launch of trust litigation in September.’
