Going for gold
Friday 08 June 2012
With shirts like these, it’s not surprising dark glasses were worn. You’re looking at the overall winners of the 22nd Manches Cup sailing regatta, a crew from City firm Banks Kelly. The event attracted over 350 solicitors and barristers for two days of yacht racing on the Solent. Magic circle firm Allen & Overy and international firm Ince & Co also picked up trophies. The regatta raised more than £5,000 for the Sail4Cancer charity.
‘The theme for the Saturday night party was “going for gold” which explains our shirts,’ says Gareth Britten, business development and practice director at Banks Kelly. Is that so?
