Before TLS, CLSA etc go for ginger snaps and tea with Mr Gove it would be nice if they spoke to Solicitors.
We made a complete hash of dealing with Grayling because we allowed the discussion to be about fees/legal aid.
The conversation needs to be about Access to Justice. We need to highlight the restrictions on access to justice and force the Government to address those issues so the public discussion is about Access to Justice.
Through this discussion we can address issues about the funding of access to justice and why access to legal advice from a regulated legal adviser helps the justice system work better and is in the best interests of the citiizen and for society.
