Firm hires: Aurelia Butler at Verisona

Aurelia Butler is now solicitor at Verisona.

Aurelia got her big break when she was offered a placement at Universal Music Group’s Mercury Records. Working within legal and business affairs, she assisted on contracts for the label’s numerous acts, which include U2, The Killers and Rihanna.

She was then asked to join Decca Records to work with its wide range of music artists including Alfie Boe and Andrea Boccelli. In 2012, she moved to the south coast to experience working for a private practice in Brighton before moving to Verisona.

‘Verisona is the perfect fit for me,’ she says.

Nick oliver is now insolvency solicitor at Verisona. Nick oliver was previously at Howes Percival.

Nick began his career in insolvency and litigation in 1994 with boutique law firm, Moon Beever in central London. In 2002, he moved to Blake Lapthorn and it was at this stage in his career he first worked alongside his father, who was also a partner there at the time, and latterly progressed to head up the firm’s Insolvency and Corporate Recovery department.
