Registered Charity No: 1134570 (England & Wales).

Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind provides practical and social support to visually impaired people, their family members and carers in and around Coventry. Sight loss disproportionately affects older people but can happen to anyone at any age. CRCB supports over 100 regular service users a week and more than 700 people every month to adjust to sight loss and lead full, active lives.

In addition to social, craft, allotment and music clubs, CRCB offers counselling, courses in cooking and sign language, outings and access to a fully adapted computer suite. All activities are led by paid session leaders helped by volunteers. It is the only centre in Coventry to offer so wide a range of services, including advice on and access to specialist commercial products that can help visually impaired people live more independently.

CRCB operates a minibus service that provides door-to-door service and allows the charity to serve the whole city effectively.

CRCB is a small, local charity and relies entirely on fundraising, donations, grants and legacies to operate. Please recommend CRCB when advising your clients on legacy gifts.
