Registered Charity No: 292400 (England & Wales).

Tibet Foundation has over three decades experience of assisting and supporting Tibetan communities in education, development, and healthcare, working directly and openly with Tibetans on the Tibetan Plateau, as well as exile communities in India and Nepal. Our charity offers practical grass-roots support to those who need help the most, and has now provided long-term assistance to several generations of communities, sustaining Tibet’s unique and precious culture. Our work ranges from the education of young children, monks and nuns to the sponsorship of vulnerable elderly Tibetans in exile, as well as vital humanitarian relief in the wake of devastating earthquakes and blizzards.

We believe that education is vital to overcoming poverty, empowering communities, as well as sustaining aspects of Tibetan culture such as language and religion. Over the past 30 years we have worked closely with each community we assist, growing through strong dialogue and long-term commitment.

Leaving a legacy to Tibet Foundation is a poignant way to directly support the education and well-being of some of the most marginalised communities in Asia, and to allow this precious culture to survive for generations to come. As a small and traditional charity based in London, and supported by the goodwill of donors and volunteers, your help could make a genuinely transformative difference to our ongoing work, and provide a brighter future for those who need it the most.
