Dr Plowman has twenty years of experience in medicolegal cases to do with cancer.

Complications of cancer management, notably chemotherapy and radiotherapy (clinical oncology) in both adults and children, delay to diagnosis of cancers (causations aspects) and nuances of breach of duty have constituted most of his practice over the last two decades.

Dr Plowman provides prompt medicolegal reports and accepts instructions (an approximately 50:50 split between claimant and defendant) and approximately 50-70 cases per year.

He is the author of a textbook on the complications of cancer management and specialises in adult oncology (St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London) and paediatric oncology (Great Ormond Street Hospital, London).
