Under an appropriately threatening sky, the capital’s legal community took to the streets last night for the 2018 London Legal Walk. The rain held off (mostly) as some 12,000 solicitors, barristers, judges, students and others walked or ran a 10-kilometre route, raising funds for the London Legal Support Trust’s work on enabling access to justice. The event culminated with a street party behind the Royal Courts of Justice and entertainment from legally themed jazz combo Permission to Appeal in the Law Society’s Common Room.
