Amazing how so many are against this. Has it ever crossed your minds that there are some ex offenders, who would make far better Judges, than some we have, let alone Magistrates. I for one, think its a great idea. There's nothing to say an ex offender would not make a better Politician and yet so many right it off so fast. The truth is some ex offenders have a far better perception of law and order, than many give them credit for. If you cannot see that them I am afraid you will just be a somebody and never be open minded to what is possible. Richard Monkhouse has the vision and can think beyond the norm. How many of you, have see the type of Magistrate, that has no clue of real life? Wake up and smell the coffee.
