Actually, if (and it's a big if) QS can pull this off, it'll make them a real threat. My concern with QS was always that there wasn't any substance behind the nice signage - this is real substance. Few firms in my experience offer to quote an agreed price for all work including litigation - even our friends the Co-op etc offer hourly rates for some areas still despite their 'fixed fee' focus. If QS really mean they are focusing on development the client proposition in a meaningful way then, with the scale they have, I think there'll make a real impact on consumer/SME work. Going from a 15 firm pilot to 200 firm reality won't be easy though...
