having read the same story on another legal news site and some of the comments here I think that perhaps the headline and indeed the story itself is a little misleading. According to Craig Holt, not every QS firm will adopt fixed fees as QS don't mandate their firms, firms across the country can offer different prices and even where fixed fees are offered, there will be alternative fee structures available too.

Isn't that what most law firms already do?

I fail to see what is groundbreaking? Am I missing something?
