This photograph of Grayling is unflattering- he has a haunted look, perhaps that of an individual knowing he has no moral compass when it comes to vandalising the precious jewel which is our legal system, which hitherto had earned admiration around the world.

Sorry but the time for "engagement" has long gone. The government with its multiple attacks on our justice system, both civil and criminal, its proposed sell off of the Land Registry and other aspects of justice, has shown an outrageous disregard for the preservation of the normal justice apparatus of a civilised country.
