Correct Rob. You are a true professional but conveyancing generally has too many bad apples that have damaged everyone's prospects. In a way the SRA assisted by the insurance industry are steadily pulling those rotten ones out. Problem is of course the bad are dragging down many honest and hard working lawyers as they go.
The infamous Chelmsford pair. Still practising, God knows how. Father 40 years experience now has to explain himself before the SDT for SDLT transgressions. 3 insolvent firms in 9 years. Son in law 4 years PQE totally reliant on father for guidance on everyday situations.

This is the situation which must be dealt with. Might be best to see 2014 out and along with another batch of bad ones before a much needed pow wow.
