It seems to me that Jackson LJ has created more problems than he has solved. The process before all of the changes was well rounded. I accept that there were a couple of bumps in it but not as many as there are now. There are massive gaps in the new Protocols. They are not consistent in their wording. The new costs matrix makes no provision for the costs of an Infant Approval Hearings that I can see (whereas Part 45 does for RTA claims). I could go on and provide other examples of how the new system is flawed but I've got 5000 files to tend to, to even stand a chance of being able to earn enough money to pay my modest mortgage now that the costs have been so dramatically slashed.
