"The electorate won't stand for it." The electorate either can't be bothered or agree to "austerity" that is until it is all too late. If members of my family think all lawyers are well off and I have to correct their view what of other members of the public who do not know anyone in the profession. The electorate couldn't give "t**s" until heaven forbid they come into contact with the profession and find no-one to help them.
