I'm afraid I would have to agree. We now find ourselves in the position where no SME can afford to sue their banks, despite the dreadful manner in which the banks have conducted themselves, claims against the police are definitely not possible and the only parties that are happy are the insurers. The Jackson reforms can only have been intended as a means of stopping most people and businesses from being able to use the courts, I cannot see any other benefit that the Jackson reforms have conferred. And to say we need 5 years for the changes to "bed in" to my mind proves this. The Jackson reforms are designed to stifle, not help.
