I don't know what other practioners are doing in the PI sector, but I've previously paid court fees for my client and then claimed them back from the defendant when I win the claim.

About 75pc of my clients are low income, so I suspect what I'll do is aim for fee exemptions in as many claims as I can from this point onwards. I suggest fellow practitioners do the same, especially in high value claims, where you can charge reasonable costs for doing the forms. This gov only understands money - so this seems a good too to deprive them of it.

Either that or I can become a judge.
