In respect of the first comment by Anonymous at 5.48pm, that's hardly a great idea- make employment claims free, as well as being at no risk to potential litigants- and watch the number of vexatious/nuisance claims rise.

If an employee has a genuine say unfair dismissal claim they should be required to pay the Tribunal fee. Why should the system be free and at no risk?

There has to be a balance between both employee and employer rather than a system without fees and little if any recourse on costs for successful employers as currently.
