Reading this report and being situated outside the UK, the entire justice administration seems to be completely off the rails. On the one hand, as some those commenting here have mentioned, if you're fully qualified and in private practice, the courts and regulators are as tough as nails. The Mitchell case and over-kill by the SRA, LSB, LeO etc etc are examples. Then, on the other side of the coin, we have "McKenzie Fiends" who have no qualifications, no PI cover, no practising certificate and who hold themselves out as legal practitioners and charge accordingly. Not so long ago, these were offences which would have nbeen prosecuted under the Legal Profession Act. What on earth is happening in Britain ?
