That way my practice can get on with doing the work worrying whether EPP and closure looms come October.

This compulsory PII predicament is totally out of control. I'm sick and tired of being fleeced of every penny I have each PII season.

Just when you think you might be keeping your head above water you are plunged into debt because of PII.

I can't even remove my practice from the Jurisdiction, to a less regulated one, NB any on will do, because I'd be liable for run off cover.

Talk about being completely tied up with bureaucracy, fear and maintaining the status quo; what the SRA and Law Society do best.
