The most interesting and useful course I ever went on, George, was given by SIF in 1997/8 on how claims tend to arise and how to avoid them. I asked why ever they 'defended' in White v. jones ,a dispute about a £10,000 estate, all the way to HofL. It was to decide a principle. Also it seems that it is L&TA 1954 Pt 2 which is the biggest single source of claims, some very large indeed.

Could some insurer(s) bring back something similar please?
