And there's me thinking self regulation had become completely discredited. Silly me; may be it was just bankers who let the side down. The intent of the SRA is well intentioned but the execution of this poor - why not require something akin to annual declaration that amounts to a personal development plan and how it is to be achieved. Surely the intention of any CPD regime is to provide a commitment to lifelong learning and to give confidence to the end user - the clients. This proposal achieves neither.
