Whilst members will probably be using their union for employment and some PI it will be interesting to see how they tackle the other areas of law. It will also be interesting to see how much traction the no deduction on PI gets versus most of the rest of the market.

I guess the threat to the high street may come from services like conveyancing where unions and their panel have not been so effective as I understand it under historic relationships. If it is run on a not for profit basis as the article on legal futures suggests then there could be significant competition if they get the right mix of price and service.
