Its all very well for clients to complain, they seem to think that they are paying therefore should have more than a quality service. They do get a quality service from us all I am sure of that, but clients are never satisfied and they do not like it that we cannot lie for them, we cannot change the law, or legal process and that we can't jump so high for them. We do our work professionally and for continuing less money. They all see us as fat cats licking the cream whilst we struggle to keep going. Let alone competition from licensed conveyancers nationally, Will writers, the Court of protection with lpa on line, and exclusion from bank panels in preference to volume unqualified conveyancers. I fed up with having no one who I can go to to complain about clients and their behaviour. The SRA , and Legal Ombudsman are not for us, and the Law Society just keep nodding and do nothing. I am sure we all have numerous incidences of clients being unreasonable, rude, not paying for our services and lying but we can say nothing. We have something called privilege but its not our privilege but everyone elses. These reports should let us challenge our complaintants by showing how they behave towards us.

I fed up of being stoic, I am human and I do not deserve to be abused, slandered when the client can hide behind our privilege. Get rid of the SRA get rid of the Legal Ombudsman and give me a true trade union.
