Beth Richardson - Defence Solicitors / Reps roles at the police station is an absolute vital one. Any government will know that less that half of the represented suspects dealt with in police stations are charged thus saving thousands on unnecessary prosecutions. As much as the police may not want us and government will never take away this role, they will of course pay us a little as they can for doing it and Stephen McNally I'm very glad solicitors do not scare you, found your comments very amusing.
