I do not know the exact details of this French law but I would support a law here that made it an offence to cover the features of your face in a public place. I agree that it is important that persons are not allowed to conceal their identity for any reason. I also agree with women who object to the burka as an instrument of male control. We are being too timid in allowing such behaviour.
