You clearly have no idea of the cost of running a law practice, the hurdles and hoops, the free work undertaken just to get a legal aid certificate, the months and months waiting to be paid, whilst arguing with the LAA over every last penny. I would be interested to learn what you charge per hour as a "trained and insured" McKenzie friend. I think what incensed me most about your comment however is "curtailing of the Domestic Violence industry" - this is not an industry, it is protecting the weak and vulnerable against the violence of another human being - you make it sound like something lawyers have cooked up as a good money making scheme. Shameful.
