Anon 3.15pm, I suspect that a "wet" A-G is one who having patiently explained to the Cabinet why it might not be a good idea to go and bomb another Country back to the Stone Age, does not come up with another view 5 minutes later that, on reflection and due consideration of one's ongoing employment prospects, it actually seems like a cracking idea to do precisely that as soon as possible.
